How does the PrEP clinic work?
Are you curious about the process at PrEP clinic and what to expect from us? Let's go through How it works at the online PrEP clinic!
STEP 1: Order your PrEP starter kit directly from the web shop
The first step is to order your test kit. You can also order additional STI testing right away if needed.
If you're not yet sure whether you want to start using PrEP through us, there is also the option of free, no-obligation advice.
(Everything you share with us stays between us. We have no waiting list so you can start your PrEP care today)
STEP 2: Laboratory tests for PrEP
We routinely test for HIV, hepatitis C and kidney function. If you'd like to have other STI tests, we can do that too. All tests are taken at home. You'll receive your test kit within a few days of payment. It's completely anonymous and discreetly packaged. Each test kit includes clear instructions, so you can take your STI test from home yourself, with proper guidance. STI home tests from Soapoli-online are as reliable as testing through your family doctor or the GGD.
STEP 3: View your results in a secure portal
After you take the tests, send them to our ISO-certified laboratory free of charge. Within 48 hours of receipt at the lab, you'll get the results of your home STI tests in the Soapoli-online results portal.
The test kit contains a card with a QR code. You must keep this card safe in order to access the results. You must register for the test in advance on the day of collection. After two working days, you can log in to view the test results.
STEP 4: We send the PrEP pills to you
Once all the results are back, we submit everything to our doctor. Once they approve, we prepare your first prescription. We're a one-stop-shop so we'll make sure your prescription gets to our online pharmacy, you don't have to do a thing.
The online pharmacy we work with is called National Pharmacy. They send the medication securely to your home address or a collection point. You'll always receive a track and trace code so you can track your order.
STEP 5: Running out of pills? Request a repeat prescription
To issue your next prescription, we'll need a new HIV test result. After you've paid, we'll send you a test to take at home.
If your HIV test result is negative, we'll prescribe you 90 tablets.
We'll make sure your prescription gets to our online pharmacy, so you don't have to do a thing.
