Privacy and anonymity
We, Klazien Visser and Marlous Lasschuyt, have worked at the GGD for many years. An appointment at the GGD is anonymous, you do not have to give a BSN. Since the tightening of admission criteria, many people can no longer be helped by the GGD. That is why we founded Soapoli-online in 2012 to offer these people a reliable alternative. With the establishment of Soapoli-online we have made every effort to ensure anonymity within our services. For example, we work exclusively with anonymous codes and not with names. The results of the laboratory come to us on this code through a secure environment. We do need some information from you to make your test unique. We need an address so we can send the test and a mailing address or phone number so you can receive the results. We never communicate data or results with third parties such as your health insurance company and/or family doctor. Our services from the website www.soapoli-online.nl is exclusively in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Special privacy for anonymous testing
For the products and/or services stating anonymity, Soapoli-online takes the following additional measures:
a. Shipment of the test kit will be in a blank envelope with no indication of product type;
b. Personal data are not sent to the laboratory. However, to ensure proper authentication of the sample and assurance of quality, code, date of birth and gender are sent with the sample.
c. It is possible to arrange treatment through Soapoli-online if you are found to have an STD. By using this you agree that we share data such as your date of birth, code, gender, BSN and the answers you provide with the Soapoli-online doctor and the pharmacy you specify. The prescription must be by name and BSN, this is required by law for the pharmacy to process it.
Deleting your data
3 months after providing your results we delete all data. This gives you enough time to act e.g. in case you have an STD. Your data, which you provide voluntarily to Soapoli-online, can relate to you or to a third party, such as your partner. In both cases, the data will be treated in accordance with our privacy policy based on the rules of the Data Protection Act. Do you want us to delete your data earlier than these 3 months? Security and Privacy
Maximum technical and organizational measures have been taken by Soapoli-online to protect your data. These measures guarantee a high level of security. Soapoli-online will regularly check whether the technical and organizational measures it has taken meet its intended security level. If necessary, Soapoli-online will take additional or replacement measures. Your data will only be used insofar as this is adequate and relevant in view of the purposes of processing your data.
Accessing, modifying and deleting your data

You have the following rights:

- having outdated personal data deleted

Please make sure you always clearly identify who you are so we can be sure we are not modifying or deleting data from the wrong person.
Mail contact
We respond to the mail you send us. Please note that if this is a mail address from your work or a mail address that your partner can look into it will affect your privacy. If you want to mail discreetly; create a temporary new mail address. Remember this address and password well because you will receive the results here. After reading your results and you have no more questions, you can delete this mailbox completely.
Telephone contact
When you call us, we see your phone number on our screen. If you don't want this, set your phone to call anonymously. You can do this by going to your phone settings and disabling caller ID.
Soapoli-online deletes all incoming phone records and does not use your number unless agreed with you.
Provision of results
Within 2 business days of receiving your collected material in our lab, you can view your results via our secure portal 'my results'. You can specify if you want to receive an e-mail as soon as your results are known. As soon as the result is known, an automatic link will follow. The e-mail addresses provided are not visible to us.
Leave a review
When providing the results, you will have the opportunity to give us feedback. This is so that we can continue to improve our services and service. Filling in the stars and feedback is voluntary. You can fill in your name and e-mail address but you do not have to. If we see a first and last name, we will remove it to ensure your privacy.
Your review will remain unless you indicate you want it removed.
Summary purposes use of your data
Soapoli-online will use your data for the following purposes:
(a) To pay online, for the self collection package and/or a blood collection package . We work with CreditCard, Mollie, Afterpay and PayPal. You can also choose to pay in advance;
(b) Sending the self collection packet and/or blood collection packet to the address you provide. We work with the distribution company PostNL. They remove your address information from their system after 3 weeks. We use this time period to send a new package if necessary;
(c) The performance of an examination/analysis by our STAR/ SHL and STEIN medical diagnostic laboratory of the self-administered collection returned by you. The withdrawals come in coded and are irreducible to you;
(d) Providing you with the results of your test. Your data will not be shared with third parties;
(e) We do not collect anonymous data for third parties;
(f) Cookie Policy.
