What are STIs?

STI stands for sexually transmitted infection - infections passed on through sex, usually sex without a condom. In the Netherlands, it's estimated that every year more than 100,000 people get an STI. Some STIs lead to serious health problems if not treated in time. Fortunately, most STIs are easily cured.

  1. Check which STI test you need. Use the STI Test Guide.
  2. Order the test and receive it at home. You can also pick up the test anonymously at one of our points of sale.
  3. Take the sample as instructed and send it to the laboratory.
  4. Log on to the results portal to activate your login code.
  5. After 2 working days, log in to the results portal where you can see your results.
